I know you all think I'm completely naïve, but that's not actually the case. I've been messed around by higher powers before, and I really was not interested in doing it again.

I kinda didn't mind it. They're about as much of a dick as you'd expect out of a deity, but the way they talk about this project of theirs is actually pretty reasonable?

Like, I've never been big on the idea of the point being-- just trying to be a better person. Needing to change anything in the first place. Just taking extra time to observe before making a quick judgment makes way more sense.

That's... fair. I guess I'm makin' judgements without all the information, but it's not like "just text god" was the obvious solution to gettin' it. It should be way clearer.
