going to town on a ridiculous amount of vegetables. there's already two piles of meat off to one side before anyone else arrives - one beef, one chicken - as well as rice cooking, which is giving off a fresh, enticing smell. chrono barely looks up unless spoken to.
his kitchen skills are practiced, methodological, clearly someone who has done this many times before. though maybe not commonly at this sheer volume.
you can pop in early to help with the preparation, or arrive later when the scent of spices and onions and meat has started overtaking the building. up to you!! feel free to talk amongst yourselves as well. ]

My favorite dish is bamboo shoot soup, both to eat and to make. I looked into the recipe books of the library, and I think the closest comparison that those of you from Earth might know of, to Liyueren cuisine, is Chinese?

I really like Chinese food, but I'm not that practiced at cookin' any. Bamboo shoots are super tasty.

I would have assumed you and Akihiko were from Inazuma, back in Teyvat, but Miss Koharu told me that names like yours tend to come from Japan. [ at least in the case of chrono's last name. ] Very interesting to see the similarities, yet differences.
[ a nod, though. ]
It is especially delicious when allowed to slow cook in the soup, with pork belly and dry-cured ham, with the pork belly sliced but still attached to bone to flavor the broth.
