[ so after all that and just Everything In General chrono has commandeered the kitchen and is just fucken

going to town on a ridiculous amount of vegetables. there's already two piles of meat off to one side before anyone else arrives - one beef, one chicken - as well as rice cooking, which is giving off a fresh, enticing smell. chrono barely looks up unless spoken to.

his kitchen skills are practiced, methodological, clearly someone who has done this many times before. though maybe not commonly at this sheer volume.

you can pop in early to help with the preparation, or arrive later when the scent of spices and onions and meat has started overtaking the building. up to you!! feel free to talk amongst yourselves as well. ]

[ OKAY HE DIDN'T EXPECT CHRONO TO JUST GO FOR IT squawks in surprise and stumbles his way around to the other side of the counter. ]

throws another peel at chrono ]

not as fast as laurence but he's still quick. and determined. ]

[ help!!! he scrambles around the other way one thing chrono DOES have on him is that he knows his way around the kitchen and laurence does not. he stumbles right into another counter.

throws a peel over his shoulder as if that will help. ]

[ GOT YOU he's dodging that peel (anime rival voice heh you thought that trick would work on me a third time?)

immediately grabs the back of laurence's shirt and shoves the handful of potato peels down it. ]

[ WIGGLES AGGRESSIVELY TO TRY AND GET THEM OUT??? ]

[ smugly throws one that got stuck to his hand at laurence's head for good measure. ]

[ going back to his abandoned carrot-cutting post with his hands innocently held the air. ]

[ he's looking way more relaxed than he was at the start of this process now, at least. ]
