The dogs are so charming. I see why humans like them. They're kind companions and I just want to just pet them for hours but... I think I'm allergic to them.

chrono looks so deeply sympathetic, but also. very mildly amused. buddy. ]

Well, you're in a bit of luck. They make medicine for that.

I know. I have some for the garden in my room but I don't want to leave them.

[There's a family of corgis making their way down the street. Little puppies, it is so cute. He finally understands what cute is. It makes him want to cry for real.

chrono watches the corgis go by. he's actually no good with dogs - they usually dislike him - so the friendliness of these ones has taken him a bit of getting used to. he's a little wary. ]

...do you want me to go get it for you? It's not too far.

Really?

[TEARFULLY. Maybe because of the allergies.]

Yeah. You're havin' a better time here than I am, so it's no problem.

[ pats him on the back gently......... baby. ]

[Gives him a little smile before blowing his nose and watch the puppies again. They're so cute...]

chrono shakes his head, endeared, and trots off on a mission.

he comes back like 20 minutes later with a fresh pack of some antihistamines and a bottle of water. ]

I just got you new ones from the store. Here.

[THANK GOD. He's gone through most of the tissues now and he's got a nice red itchy patch on his arm and back of his neck. He looks at Chrono when he returns.]

You're saving me.

If this is all it takes, then it's a good start to the week.

[Because Anders has the world's weirdest bedside manner and also Kaworu can usually get what he wants out of him.

He sniffs loudly and leans against Chrono a little.]

Do you like dogs?

[ he'll tip his head down so they're leaning on each other, but cross his arms with a hum of trepidation. ]

Mm, well... it's more dogs don't like me?

I can't imagine someone not liking you. Especially not dogs. They seem to like everyone.

[They're not even offended when he sneezes!]

[ he sighs, a little sadly. ]

I'm more of a cat person. There's two cats at the store where I work, and they really like me. Dogs usually get annoyed with me. Dunno why.

Maybe you just haven't met the right dogs. Just like I hadn't met the right adults before coming here. Just because some of them are bad doesn't mean they all are.

It's not that I think they're bad! They're better than horses, that's for sure. [ awfully specific but alright. ] ...these guys do seem real friendly, though.

Did... you... ride one?

[This is curious.]

No-- well, yeah, but the stupid thing hated me. It just kept biting my hair.

[Just going to laugh at the mental images. And cough because he's congested but this is so funny.]

[ grumbles, but he's not actually that mad about it. and at lease kaworu is laughing. ]

Yeah, yeah. If I never have to deal with another horse I'll be happier in life.

There's been no horses in heaven yet.
